Standardized Label for Aluminum Cans – Recycling Bin Label (5.5”x8.5”)
This society-wide standardized label is designed for recycling bins that collect aluminum cans separately from other materials. Clear, consistent, and easy to recognize, this label helps eliminate confusion at the bin and misleading labels on packaging. This standardized label ensures aluminum cans are properly sorted for recycling.
Ideal for schools, homes, offices, stadiums, municipalities, and households where cans are collected on their own, this label aligns with national best practices for standardized recycling. Featuring bold icons and proven messaging, it supports higher recycling rates and reduces contamination. Made for indoor or outdoor use, it’s part of the official standardized label system for bins, carts, and dumpsters used by thousands of organizations across the U.S. to fix recycling where it matters most: the bin.

Information About the Label Material: These are high-tack, long-wearing, cleanable, adhesive labels printed on 3.4-mil flexible industrial vinyl. These labels adhere to polycarbonate, polyesters, polyethylenes, polypropylenes and most other clean and dry surfaces. They are created specifically to withstand custodial and industrial use.
Important: If you have Toter brand bins, labels do not adhere well to their bins. From the Toter manager of product development "Our carts have a textured surface and are made of polyethylene, which has a low surface energy. So most adhesive will not stick to them."
