Heavy-Duty Standardized Label – Metal Cans & Plastic Bottles and Jugs (17”x11”)

This heavy-duty standardized label is engineered for extreme environments, with a high-tack adhesive and durable UV laminate to withstand harsh sun, snow, rain, and temperature swings. Designed for recycling bins that collect metal cans (aluminum, steel, tin) and plastic bottles and jugs, this label provides clear, standardized guidance where it matters most: the bin.

Perfect for use in national parks, trailheads, campuses, outdoor venues, and municipalities, this label helps reduce confusion caused by packaging claims and ensures proper sorting of recyclables.

Note: For powder-coated or wildlife-resistant bins (e.g., BearSaver), please contact info@recycleacrossamerica.org to request custom heavy-duty labels with adhesive designed specifically for those surfaces.

Information About the Label Material: These are high-tack, long-wearing, cleanable, adhesive labels printed on 3.4-mil flexible industrial vinyl. These labels adhere to polycarbonate, polyesters, polyethylenes, polypropylenes and most other clean and dry surfaces. They are created specifically to withstand custodial and industrial use.

Important: If you have Toter brand bins, labels do not adhere well to their bins. From the Toter manager of product development "Our carts have a textured surface and are made of polyethylene, which has a low surface energy. So most adhesive will not stick to them."
