It is just as important to indicate which bin is for Landfill waste, as it is to mark the bins for recyclable materials. Always make sure that Landfill bins are placed along side all of the recycling bin(s) but clearly distinguishable from the recycling bins.

Information About the Label Material: These are high-tack, long-wearing, cleanable, adhesive labels printed on 3.4-mil flexible industrial vinyl. These labels adhere to polycarbonate, polyesters, polyethylenes, polypropylenes and most other clean and dry surfaces. They are created specifically to withstand custodial and industrial use.
Important: If you have Toter brand bins, labels do not adhere well to their bins. From the Toter manager of product development "Our carts have a textured surface and are made of polyethylene, which has a low surface energy. So most adhesive will not stick to them."
